Karwendeltal

For the second time Jochen and I decided to do a Mountain Bike tour through the Karwendeltal. Our intention was to cycle up to the Karwendelhaus but because it was sooo cold we only got up to the last ascent before the hut - there was already frost on the ground and the water puddles were all frozen so just about -1° in the shade. Just after the first hill we rode above the Isar and soon after we were into the valley. There were little waterfalls everywhere and the water was just a perfect turquoise blue colour. This tour is a must do but ONLY in Summer.
